It is for those who are curious about the renewal process of a 33-year-old organisation that has weathered many storms and was created in the heat of regime change!

The 33rd Mediawave International Film Competition and Student Film Screening will showcase the old-new light of Mediawave with a unique and diverse domestic and international filmmaking presence in Budapest and in several locations in Hungary and abroad in 2023. These screenings are also about coming together. They are about incredibly important social issues, creative and human perspectives that we need to see and interpret together. And the best way to do this is through a creative, creative togetherness that is reminiscent of a workshop. We feel the impact of the global crisis, but we don't stop, just enough to listen to each other. Because everyone who attends the 33rd MediaNewave Together can become a creative, communal being instead of a big festival. This is the principle of renewal, and we are happy to offer you accompanying programmes, space for discussion, workshops, dance, and we expect humanity from you in return!

Two barns, a garden, a workshop, a roof, tents, but for the more comfortable we will also be happy to provide beds! Bring your own sleeping bag and something good for everyone at the communal table!
