-15 by Rinaldas Tomaševičius places an emphasized attention on not accepted social subcultures. The way of storytelling, especially the visual expression creates a complete atmosphere for the story where the conflict unfolds slowly but in a witted manner, in front of our eyes. This is carried out by real-life motives that evolve loveable characters. The film tells a complex story that deeply impacts the viewer.
Special prize: Cantata (by Dave Fox)
Cantata operates in a bold and humorous manner by the tool of sound, thus creating a unique effect among the films of the festival.

Hungarian Reality Special Prize: Narrow Path to Happiness (by Kata Oláh)
Special prize for the sensible and serene depiction of Hungarian reality. The prize is an act of encouragement for the individuals the film is about.

Quality cinematography and refined although at times perplexing editing. Interesting but dramaturgically incomplete story.

The film depicts heavy dramas of human life in a playful metaphor, while all the way retaining its lightness and deep humaneness.
Special prize: Drijf (by Levi Stoops)
The most ordinary moments of human relationships in an unusual situation, told in a highly original way, filled with brilliant solutions, throughout employing the possibilities offered by animation technique.

Heta Jäälinoja's animation provides a unique insight into a community whose harmony is shattered by an unexpected secret. The nuns' world is playful, the language is humorous, the tone is at once sacred and profane.
Special prize: In the shadow of the Cypress (by Hossein Molayemi and Shirin Sohani)
Hossen Molayemi and Shirin Sohani's animation features a unique visual world. The delicate, airy colours contrast with the heaviness of the subject, creating a unique cinematic experience. Confrontation, descent and then the possibility of rising, all in the refraction of the Cypriot sun.

Strong, coherent, precise work. It revives something interrupted, the recipient is also the one who runs the work of art – without them there is no work in motion, no variation.
Awakening main prize: The Waiting (by Volker Schlecht)
The film illustrates from a strong and appropriate distance an objective, almost documentary narrative. A unique and imaginative presentation of the monologue is shown through the visual layers.
