Olilo is a 2D animation short. The story is about an introverted girl who is held captive by her own semi-transparent personal space; this is her way to survive in the world. The project deals with growing up, love and sharing. It was created through a combination of frame-by-frame traditional and digital drawing and key frame animation.
Ao LI
Ao Li is a concept and storyboard designer from China, based in New York. She received her BFA degree in computer animation from Beijing Film Academy, and she obtained her MFA from the School of Visual Arts in Computer Art, concentrating in motion graphics and 3-D animation. She has worked as a freelance illustrator, concept designer and animator on numerous projects. One of her collaborative animation shorts won the Sir Richard Taylor Award (Best Technique Application). She is a pictureholic and loves to collect and categorize beautiful things.

Two Greek filmmakers will come to this year's Passport Controll - Summer Art Workshops and Community Gathering, to lead film workshop for students. Film director Karina Logothetis and sound designer Vasilis Zlatanos won the award for the Most Original Short Film at the 33rd edition of the Mediawave Film Festival this year, with their short fiction Pebble.
