Jozsef & Kati have been living in the middle of nowhere on a small farm for their entire lives and nobody else is living there anymore. They have a minimal relationship with the world which surrounds them. Their son, Sanyika is a true cosmopolitan, who always calls his parents on the mobile phone he left with them. This modern device is totally alien for these two people. Jozsef is particularly annoyed by the device and refuses to use it; on the other hand Kati is always waiting for their son's call. They work in silence and Kati only communicates a few words to Jozsef. After Kati dead, in Jozsef’s dream, he finds himself on a hill full of crosses in the presence of a MAN who refers to himself as the cross-maker. The cross, or destiny, karma of somebody, as we say: "Everyone bears their own cross."
