City Codes is an experimental film presenting global non-verbal communication by young people. The specific editing of symbolic hand movements and gestures made by young people in Berlin and five of the city’s international partner cities (Beijing, Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Moscow, Windhoek) leads an international gestural dialogue.A specially composition made from the cities’ original sounds and rhythms reflect the cities’ specific cultural environments.

Two Greek filmmakers will come to this year's Passport Controll - Summer Art Workshops and Community Gathering, to lead film workshop for students. Film director Karina Logothetis and sound designer Vasilis Zlatanos won the award for the Most Original Short Film at the 33rd edition of the Mediawave Film Festival this year, with their short fiction Pebble.
