On April 10th in the morning first unsettling news about the air catastrophe of the government plane Tu-154 reached Poland. On the board of the plane there was the President of the Polish Republic – Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria, government representatives, state institutions officials, members of parliament, church officials, commanders and different divisions of the Polish Army. Tension was building when the news to come were awaited. Alas, the most tragic scenario came true: all the passengers and crew members were dead. Seven days of the National Mourning were declared. This film is a transcript of one of these days in April.

Krzysztof KADLUBOWSKI
Krzysztof Kadlubowski has been head of the Film Studio Plus from Warsaw since 1995, producing among other things commercials, music videos, public service spots, news coverage, animations and documentary films. He is also the cinematographer for many documentaries, such as The Constant General (2005); Polish Summer, Hungarian Autumn (2006) and Mutter (2007).

Two Greek filmmakers will come to this year's Passport Controll - Summer Art Workshops and Community Gathering, to lead film workshop for students. Film director Karina Logothetis and sound designer Vasilis Zlatanos won the award for the Most Original Short Film at the 33rd edition of the Mediawave Film Festival this year, with their short fiction Pebble.
