FOR THOSE WHO ARRIVE TO US AS A COMMUNITY!
Beforehand, shortly, our 29-year-old festival as we called it formerly which, for eight years now, we have been demonstratively renamed to Gathering, is in an intermediate phase, on halfway perhaps, still keeping traces of a classical festival service-based approach. But it is also certain that who comes with "audience attitudes" may find peculiarity in the perhaps strange but most hopefully thought-awakening elements. This does not relate to the nature of the programs, but to the already established and continuously developing mood and attitude of and by the gathering community. We know exactly that this is not a pleasure for everyone, but we do not wish to seek the public's grace with our form that builds on personal activity. However, anyone who has an interest in our attitude to bring back the feeling of community is to look and feel courageous or cautious about the ways of getting into the community. I can assure you that there will be many opportunities for this. If you read into our helping, enhancing and regulating ideas on community-based functioning for the community’s existing members, we hope you to find a reference to go further beyond and become a member of our community step by step.

TO THE MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY!
For those of you who have participated in our community experiments once or several times, we tell you that we feel the time has come to change the scale. Many positive experiences have been gathered over the past few years about community-based operations, but also a plenty of negative ones. This is not a problem, actually it is natural. Such is the time of seeking the road. And sometimes you have to stop, evaluate, somewhat modify the direction if necessary and run again. In the hope that this time it will turn out more effective.
In the following chapters, we would like to share our experiences, dilemmas and seekings for new solutions with you. Of course we do not just want to tell ourselves, but we look forward to your experiences as we have done in the past two years freshly, right after the Gathering (available here). Maybe it has settled since then. In addition, after the Summer Grove (Mediawave Summer Camp, Somogyfajsz) (available here), which is an important experimental ground of ours.

We would be honored you shared your thoughts about community forming with us. Combining them with ours, we will continue on our way.
